We come in to the CBD early on weekends to do things and they're open and easy to get to. Cafe is decent and they've got hot breakfast options. The omelette is generous and comes with a huge slice of buttered toast. Coffee always lands fast, hot food take longer than it should.
This is a fine little Cafe located on the lower ground floor of The Galeries on George St. Very tempting selection of sweet treats in the glass display cabinet. The Lean Green breakfast bowl was a healthy delight, consisting of cooked spinach, peas, cucumber, grilled halloumi, avocado and a boiled egg. Reasonably priced, pleasant staff.
Wide variety of sweet and savoury food to choose from, and the coffee is good albeit served a bit too hot. Customer service is excellent, however they lose a star as the pies don't have enough beef in them, and the pastry isn't homemade, as I would expect for a $10 and not very big pie.
Dropped by this nice cosy cafe for coffee and a quick snack after spending time walking along George Street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Had coffee which was fantastic, and ordered egg benedict with spinach as a quick snack. The egg were well done with the yolk oozing out with the right consistency over the spinach and toast. The hollandaise sauce was flavourful, paired nicely with the egg & spinach. Overall a wonderful experience.
